Graphicten Featured in Orlando Voyager: The Story Behind the Brand
I do not talk about my personal story as much as I probably should. Building a business keeps you focused on the work, the clients, and what is next. Looking back does not always feel like a priority.
But when Orlando Voyager reached out and asked me to share where Graphicten came from, I said yes. Because the story matters. And I think it is time more people heard it.
Where It Started
I was born hearing impaired. That is not something I lead with in most conversations, but it is a fact that shaped everything about how I communicate, how I listen, and how I eventually built this company.
Growing up, I had to work harder than most people to be understood and taken seriously. What I did not realize at the time was that those challenges were building something in me. Patience. Attention to detail. A deep commitment to making things clear and impossible to misunderstand. Those habits became the foundation of Graphicten.
Why I Built Graphicten
By 2010 I had worked on hundreds of projects and kept seeing the same problem. Small businesses were being underserved. They were getting subpar websites and strategies that were holding them back, sometimes from agencies that did not care and sometimes from solutions that were never built with their needs in mind.
I knew what it felt like to be overlooked. I was not going to build a company that did that to the people it was supposed to help.
So I founded Graphicten with one goal: give small businesses the tools, strategy, and brand presence they actually deserve.
What We Have Built
What started as a web development focus has grown into a full-service branding and digital marketing agency serving businesses in Ocala, Central Florida, and clients across the United States and around the world. Today we handle everything from website design and local SEO to screen printing, embroidery, custom apparel, and promotional products.
All of it is built on the same standard we started with. We call it our ten out of ten standard. It is not a slogan. It is how we work.
If you want to know more about who we are and what drives us, you can start on our About page.
